    Another new tv series is going to be aired in the Primetime Bida of GMA Network entitled "Gagambino". It is an adaptation of Carlo J. Caparas’ novel on February 2007. It is said that Richard Gutierrez will get the role but he opted to get the role in show "Codename: Asero". Now the role is given to Dennis Trillio by the network. Another big stars of the tv series are Nadine Samonte, Katrina Halili and Polo Ravales. Here, Dennis was required by the director to learn three martial arts in preparation for the role. This show will again make the GMA Network and Dennis’ avid fans to enjoy.

It’s Anne Curtis’ time to shine because she’s the star of the upcoming ABS-CBN primetime bida series entitled "Dyosa".

Here, at first she will be an eighteen-year-old living a normal life as a student, a part-time cosplay model and a loving daughter to her midget parents when she discovers that she is not an ordinary girl and will become the godess of air, land, and water.

Other stars of the series are Sam Milby, Zanjoe Marudo and Luis Manzano; created by John Roque and Gina Marissa Tagasa; directed by Wenn Deramas. This series will begin as ABS-CBN’s My Girl comes to an end.

    Lately I’ve been seeing advertisment and teasers in ABS-CBN of the Philippine version of "Fear Factor". The TV network has just acquired the rights for the reality show to be aired in the country. Now there are rumors for who will host the show. The list includes Derek Ramsey, Ryan Agoncillo, Edu Manzano, Cesar Montano, Willie Revillame, or some new face altogether. There is no exact date of when will this show be aired in the "Kapamilya" channel but as for now they are starting to have auditions in every part of the country.

    I think the show is intended to go againts the another reality show "Survivor Philippines" of the their great rival in entertainment business, GMA. Well let’s see what show is better in the eyes of the Filipino televiewers.

    Codename: Asero is an upcoming Philippine action-drama series that will soon air on GMA-7 Network. Some parts of the series is filmed in Dubai, and it stars Richard Gutierrez and Heart Evangelista. This will be the first time that they will be together in a TV series and after Heart’s transfer of tv network. The series begins airing sometime in July 2008.

    This June 30, 2008 GMA Network will be airing their new TV show entitled"Ako si Kim Sam Soon". The is a Filipino version and a remake of the Korean show "My name is Kim Sam Soon". Another show is about to be shown in the primtime bida in ABS-CBN. It is the pinoy version of Betty La Fea. It has been announced to the press of who will get the role as "Betty" and its the beautiful Bea Alonzo and probably his love team John Lloyd will get the role of "Armando". Anne Curtis, Toni Gonzaga, Angel Locsin, Ara Mina, Valerie Concepcion, and even Pokwang surfaced as potential prospects. Despite the litany of names being reported from time to time, Deo confessed that Bea’s name had always been on top of the list since day one.

According to ABS-CBN Business Unit Head Deo Endrinal, the network secured the rights for Betty La Fea two years ago, but they opted to take time before making the local version.

“I’m really, really happy and grateful,” said Bea while recalling her exact feelings when she was finally informed by the network that she bagged the plum role.

A popular reality show in America is going to hit the country, "Survivor Philippines". Now they are in the audition part. They are holding now auditions in the different parts of Philippines. They are looking for castaway hopefuls who fall on the right age bracket requirement (18 - 60 years old), must be physically fit and mentally capable to live 39 days in a remote island. Paolo Bendiones is said to be the host of the new show in the network. 3M is waiting for the first Pinoy Sole Survivor. During the auditions in Davao, the host also added that the show will NOT be held within the Philippines territory, stating as per strict compliance to Castaway Productions regulations - just like any other Survivor country franchises. By the way it is going to start this August in GMA 7.

This is going to be exciting cause this is a true competition not like any other, because first this is not an "artista search". We are not going to see people who are "maarte". That’s what I like in watching reality shows. Nice job GMA 7.

The pilot episode of Pinoy Idol is going to be aired today, April 5, 2008, on GMA kapuso network, right after Pinoy Records. The show is hosted by Raymond Gutierrez and the three judges are Ogie Alcasid, Jolina Magdangal and Wyndard Tracy. It will be exciting show cause it is a nationwide search and it is expected that great Filipino talents will clash and compete for the title of the first Pinoy Idol.

The famous show that made some housemates into stardom like Kim Chui, Gerald Anderson, Sam Milby, and others is back on ABS CBN. And its the season 2 of the Teen Edition. Another 12 housemates are put together in the Big Brother to face the challenges of Kuya. The first Teen Edition may have appeared to be easy, but this is Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus and you can bet Kuya’s got something new up his sleeve.
